If you've spoken to us on the phone and wonder what we look like, or you'd like to know more about the auditor who is coming to visit you, this is the place to be!

Below you'll find details of all of us brave enough to face the camera and reveal a little more about who we really are.

David Crompton - Operations Director
One of the two founder members of ISOQAR, David is a scientist having gained degrees in chemistry and polymer technology from London university. Previously a research chemist/technologist with BTR and a quality manager with Macpherson Polymers where he originally became involved with the MOD and BS 5750 quality systems (and later ISO 9001).

Having decided to work full time in third-party audit activities he became a Regional Manager for an accredited certification body before joining with George Maxwell to conceive ISOQAR in 1990.

David has seen his baby (ISOQAR) grow continually over the past decade and still takes a very much "hands on" approach in the company, as does his partner George.

Outside work David’s first love is his beloved Wigan Rugby club. He also enjoys golf, cycling and walking.

George Maxwell - Operations Director back to the top

George is a lapsed Scotsman who has been in England too long!  He is the other half of the two founders, with a background in electro-mechanical engineering.  Like most people during the seventies and eighties, he moved companies every 4 or 5 years to gain a broader experience (which is a nice way of saying being made redundant!).

This led to the crossing of paths with David Crompton.  Through working together and the building of a friendship, ISOQAR was formed.  George has been fortunate enough to enjoy the international growth of ISOQAR (along with David) and discover more about the cultural aspects of many countries.  Combined with other new business, this has helped him maintain a fresh and keen interest in ISOQAR’s progress.

Apart from being paid to see the world, George has 5 children (4 under the age of 10).  His hobbies are anything they want to do and golf!  Despite most of his family supporting Manchester United, George is a keen Manchester City fan.  The last hope of an ally is his young son, on whom he is currently working!

Rosemary Haskayne - Directors Secretary back to the top

Rosemary, also called Rose or Rosie (and other less polite names on occasions!) joined the company in April 1992 as an administrator. At that time there was only enough administration work to keep her occupied for three hours each day! However, the hard work the Directors put into the marketing of the company, soon changed this situation.

Since then, the company has grown in leaps and bounds, both in the UK and around the world. Rose's versatility, commitment and attention to detail have resulted in the continual development of her role. She is currently both Directors Secretary and secretary to the General Manager.

In addition she still retains responsibilities for producing and controlling the company's quality and procedures manuals, as well as being involved in the external audits we receive from UKAS and ANAB. Much of her work is concerned with Certification Committee meetings and organising the production of certificates. So if you want to know where your certificate is, just ask Rose! And last, but not least, there is always the Directors' tea to be made!

Outside work, Rose enjoys listening to most kinds of music, history (including that of her family), reading, driving and walking in the countryside. She is a committed Christian and enjoys organising and taking part in services of worship.

Steve Stubley -  General Manager back to the top

Steve joined ISOQAR from Leeds City Council in 1993 as one of the first auditors employed by the Directors.  His background is mainly in food manufacturing and working with local authorities.  He has been instrumental in helping ISOQAR considerably extend its scope of accreditation to many new sectors of industry and commerce.

In 1995 Steve was appointed as Area Manager for the Leeds office. The successful development of this office helped the company grow from a mainly north-west based organisation to a national, and later an international company.  In 1997 he was promoted to General Manager, based at ISOQAR’s Head Office in Manchester.  Since then a major achievement has been to drive forward the successful accreditation to ISO14001, which was achieved in January 2000.

Still living in Leeds, Steve’s hobbies include running a successful Judo club for juniors and seniors, and is treasurer for a Gaelic Football club.
Frank Livesey - Administration Manager and Chief Executive back to the top

After 26 years (man and boy) with NatWest bank, Frank joined ISOQAR in 1996 as office manager.  Soon after, appointed Chief Executive to the Governing Board, he now oversees both the office administration and deals with certification issues.

A native of Wigan, Frank has little option other than to show an interest in Rugby League.  This however, sits nicely with his general love of sport.

Now a little long in the tooth to participate in anything too exertive, his main recreational pastime is playing very bad golf!
Nigel Dunkinson - Marketing Manager back to the top

Nigel joined ISOQAR in 1994 to help maintain and improve the company’s market share after the government pulled the plug on ISO 9001 funding.  Strategies such as relationship building with management consultants and direct marketing programmes have helped the company grow from a handful of auditors handling hundreds of registrations, to a large team of auditors servicing thousands of companies throughout the UK and overseas.

With a degree in Mathematics, Nigel started life as a teacher.  He soon decided that he’d rather leave school after all, so went on to become a computer programmer.  Having decided that lots of computers weren’t much better than lots of kids, he moved into marketing.

This translated into spending a number of years producing brochures and setting up trade shows around the world for Ferranti Computer Systems.  Shortly followed by involvement in the full spectrum of business to business marketing.

Outside work, Nigel enjoys cycling (when it’s warm!), walking, playing tennis, listening to the radio and live music.

Keith Smith - Overseas Manager back to the top
Keith Smith has been a quality management professional for more than 20 years. He has held managerial posts in both manufacturing and service industries. A registered lead auditor with the Institute of Quality Assurance since 1987, Keith joined ISOQAR's team in 1994. He is presently project manager responsible for co-ordinating overseas development.

Keith, the person outside of ISOQAR, is a husband, father of 2 grown up daughters, committed Christian, musician, badminton player and Golfer.

Andy Smith - USA Operations Manager back to the top
After leaving Manchester University in June 1988 with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Andy worked as an Aerodynamicist for British Aerospace. Unable to pronounce his job title, he left there to undertake training for his Commercial Pilot’s Licence and by an obscure route outside the scope of this profile, ended up at ISOQAR in the Marketing Department.

Andy is now the Operations Manager for ISOQAR Inc based in Bonita Springs in Florida. He is responsible for business development and the day to day activities of ISOQAR in North America.

Away from the office Andy follows his soccer team, Manchester City and is still trying to master the game of golf but is fast losing patience.

Peter Parr - Lead Auditor back to the top

Peter started working life as a butcher for Tesco before working for Bowyers as a Quality Manager where he became involved in Quality Assurance.  He achieved minor fame by winning the "Best Black Pudding in Great Britain Competition" three times (he was born in Lancashire!).  On leaving Bowyers, 13 years later, and marrying a vegetarian, he took a job as a Technical Production Manager with the Sutherland’s Group in a bacon factory.

On the lookout for something new, Peter saw a job advertisement for people with knowledge of Quality Assurance.  One research trip to the library and interview later he was working for a chap called Steve Stubley (now General Manager of ISOQAR!).  Just 8 months later the Council became the first local authority to be awarded certification to BS5750 part 1 (now ISO 9001).

From here, Peter moved within the authority to work on quality management systems across a range of contracting services subject to CCT (Compulsory Competitive Tendering) including Refuse Collection & Street Cleansing, Street Lighting, Lift Maintenance, Building Cleaning, Central Purchasing and Winter Maintenance of Roads.

Peter joined ISOQAR in 1994 to strengthen our experience with local authorities and the food industry.  He now works in the food, catering, local authority, care & nursing sectors of the business carrying out audits against ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, OHSAS 18001, and BRC standards.

Outside work Peter is interested in the digital photography of British wildlife.

Steven Moss - Training manager & Lead Auditor back to the top

Steven started his working life with Plessey Telecommunications Ltd and moved into Quality Assurance after completing an apprenticeship.

He has held a variety of QA related roles and since moving to ISOQAR in 1993, has been appointed Training Manager, responsible for training and monitoring audit staff. Steven still regularly conducts audits, specialising in telecoms, electrical and forensic science related work.

Outside interests mainly revolve around his family.  He is married to Ellen, a Teaching Assistant and they have two children, Philip and Joanne.

He has followed Wigan Athletic FC from the Northern Premier League to the Premiership. A favourite hobby is going to gigs and listening to indie/rock music.

In an effort to keep fit, Steven walks Bolan the Spaniel and rides a Mountain Bike (off-road as much as possible)

Roger Wood - Projects Manager  back to the top

Having completed fifteen years working in the food industry, a change of direction was on the cards for Roger in February 1997. This is when he joined ISOQAR.  It was now a case of the shoe being on the other foot, having been audited by ISOQAR in his previous role.

Since joining ISOQAR, Roger has expanded his industry knowledge to much more than just the food sector.  He now audits a wide and varied range of our customers.

As the demand for ISOQAR to deliver training courses grew, Roger was appointed to develop our external training activities.  A variety of courses are now on offer.  Why not take a peek at www.isoqar.com/training!

Away from the office, Roger spends any free time with his family, wife and two young sons.  He is a keen low-handicap golfer (much to the annoyance of his colleagues!) and supports Preston North End.  This all fits in nicely with his passion for the outdoor life (and music!).
Carolyn Pither - Project Manager   back to the top

Originally a biologist specialising in ecology and microbiology, Carolyn became a teacher, decided better of it and went into industry producing toiletries for the supermarkets and retail trade. That company went from a 12 person company to a multi-national and she says she did most jobs whilst there! Later, Carolyn joined a consultancy and training company working on ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 throughout the world.

Now at ISOQAR, Carolyn is a project manager for the environmental standard and audits quality, environmental and health & safety management systems. Carolyn has a diverse expertise which covers waste management to care homes, taking in chemicals, laboratories, construction, education, basic engineering and many other service sectors along the way.

When she's not involved in any of this, Carolyn enjoys walking (especially with her dog) in the forest in summer and on the beach in winter. She regularly battles with the garden (it usually wins!) then retires to a chair with a glass of wine! And finally she also enjoys photography - especially hot air balloons. She has also been spotted flying in them.

Mike Clark - Lead Auditor  back to the top
Mike is a trained Chemist and joined ISOQAR in 1997 after working for ICI and BP Chemicals. His work experience is mainly with R & D and Technical Services in the thermoplastic manufacture and processing sectors.

Mike also spent several years as a Quality Manager responsible for implementing and maintaining Quality Assurance Systems and Total Quality Management initiatives. This role involved plants and offices throughout Europe and gave Mike the opportunity to reach a competent level of fluency in Italian.

Mike's hobbies include walking, swimming and listening to folk music.

David Willcocks - Lead Auditor  back to the top

After completing a 5 year Craft Apprenticeship with the Ford Motor Company, David remained at Ford as a test rig fitter before emigrating to South Africa in 1975.  During these years in SA he held positions at Leyland Cars, Mercedes, and finally as a Supplier Quality Engineer with Toyota in Durban, Natal.  On his return to the UK in 1986 (with two young sons in tow) he was employed at ERF trucks in Sandbach, Cheshire again as a Supplier Quality Engineer.

David was the fourth auditor to join ISOQAR.  This was back in 1993.  Apart from visiting clients within his own sector of engineering and automotive manufacturing, he audits a very wide and diverse range of organisations both in the manufacturing and service industries.

Interests and hobbies include using his bus pass and hiking.  David is a member of the Three Peaks of Yorkshire club.  In recent years David has competed 3 times in the Great North Run half marathon in Tyneside (finishing on the same day).  He plays the electric guitar in a duo/band doing occasional gigs, mostly pubs or clubs.  He also submits regular "one-line-philosophy" entries to the Daily Mail letters page, which, sadly they quite often print!

Jim Eaton - Lead Auditor  back to the top
Jim arrived on ISOQAR’s doorstep over five years ago, fresh from five years quality consultancy work throughout the UK and USA. By qualification and experience, an Engineer, Jim has worked within the Quality sector for over 25 years, gaining first hand knowledge of dealing not only with in house disciplines but also liaising with suppliers and customers.

A registered lead auditor since 1988, Jim has worked with and audited literally hundreds of companies across a diverse range of industries, both service sector and manufacturing.

At the weekend he can be found playing Golf, and he is a ‘Blue Eyed’ follower of Manchester City.

Ralph Ball - Lead Auditor  back to the top
Ralph joined ISOQAR in 1998 to enable them to maintain their customer service levels as demand for ISOQAR's services increased. On leaving school he joined a major motor manufacturer as a technician apprentice, where he specialised in quality control. Since then he has spent all his working life in the quality field in a diverse range of industries, including railways, consumer products, office equipment, plastic processing, industrial doors, and spring manufacturer.

Ralph used to be a keen sportsman until age took its toll and he took up gardening instead. He is now a keen exhibitor specialising in Dahlias, Chrysanthemums, Bonsai, and some vegetables, for which he has won many prizes. Quality is a way of life for him, not just in work but also at home.

Russ Archer - Lead Auditor back to the top

Russ Joined ISOQAR in May 2000 following 12 years in heavy engineering and 12 years in the steel industry.  Starting as an apprentice, Russ steadily progressed his career, finally working as Quality and Training Manager before joining our audit team.

With all this experience, Russ now audits customers from the industries from whence he came. He has also expanded his industry knowledge to include stockists, materials testing, and training providers.

Although Russ lives in Bolton, he is a keen supporter of Leeds United Football Club.  He also enjoys running, playing pool, five-a-side football and spending time with his two children.

Mike joined ISOQAR in 1998 following a period of 12 years consultancy specialising in the development and implementation of quality management systems in small and medium sized businesses. This included time spent in Cyprus working on projects sponsored by the Cyprus Institute of Technology.

This period was preceded by many years' experience in the clothing and textile sectors, latterly in a senior sales and marketing role at international level, with special responsibility for development within the Middle East.

Mike has a firm belief in the benefits to be accrued by organisations committed to the implementation of effective quality management systems. He regards the year 2000 revisions to the ISO 9000 series of standards as an opportunity to enhance these benefits.

Outside work, Mike is kept busy by running a guest house in Hathersage near Sheffield with his wife, Sandra. And with any time left (of which there isn't much) he can be found pursuing his favourite pastime of gardening.
Having spent over 25 years as a civil & structural engineer and a senior manager within the building and civil engineering industry, Ian decided that he would like a change of direction. However, he still wanted to use the skills he had developed in the public and private construction sectors...

…so in July 2001 Ian joined ISOQAR. As one of our lead auditors, he specialises in building, civil engineering and associated professional disciplines. In fact, Ian gets involved in most of ISOQAR's activities where his vast experience in construction can be put to good use!

Outside of ISOQAR, Ian enjoys motoring, walking & DIY and there are rumours that he is a committed thespian (although his wife can confirm that it is not contagious!).

Mike has spent 30 years in engineering and the motor trade, starting on the shop floor and working all the way up to Quality Manager before joining ISOQAR in September 2000.With all this experience, Mike now audits engineering and a whole host of other associated industries.

With his appealing West Midland accent, Mike mainly looks after ISOQAR clients in the Midlands and beyond. When not auditing Mike likes collecting books and is an avid supporter of Walsall Football Club (well, someone’s got to be!).

He is also a keen water colour artist and has talents have even been displayed in London galleries.
John has over 25 years experience in a wide range of engineering disciplines and project management. Developing himself from a time-served apprentice to Quality Assurance Manger, completing an MBA in the process, John has now notched up over 14 years experience in the field of quality management.

Since joining ISOQAR in September 2000, John has continued to develop his broad range of skills, gaining experience and knowledge in a variety of disciplines such as environmental auditing and the construction sector. He has also gained recognised qualifications in Health and Safety and Street Works, the latter enabling him to work on Highways projects.

John’s interests include golf, following Liverpool Football Club, walking and travel.

Jazz joined ISOQAR in May 2002 following a 25-year career in a variety of quality assurance roles. During this time, Jazz gained valuable experience within the electronics and automotive fields and even had a spell in the motor sport industry.

Some consultancy work led to a chance meeting with ISOQAR. This made him think that it may be beneficial to increase the company’s presence in the south. We agreed and invited Jazz to join the team. The rest, as they say, is history!

Jazz is married and claims to have two young children plus various other animals! His interests include tennis (at which we believe he’s a bit good!), hill walking and gardening.

Mike joined ISOQAR in April 2003 as a lead auditor specialising in electronics, computer hardware and software and road haulage. An interesting diversity acquired by an interesting past!

Mike began his working life by serving 8 years as Merchant Navy Officer. He followed this with 15 years as a computer programmer designing and developing real time computer systems for the marine market. From there Mike joined Dowding & Mills plc where he learnt his trade as a Quality Auditor as well as taking on the role of Transport Manager.

He is also the fifth ISOQAR auditor called Mike. As he’s got a double-barrelled surname, we call him Mike 5 for short! So if you ever want to join ISOQAR as an auditor, changing your name to Mike will almost guarantee getting on the interview shortlist!

After hours Mike is a keen gardener and DIY enthusiast. His wife, however, claims that he’s the worst gardener she ever met. And she thought she was marrying a friend of Alan Titchmarsh!

Steve’s background is in mechanical engineering. Many moons ago he started his working life as a time served toolmaker. He later moved on to JCB, where he spent 15 years in Research and Development followed by 2 years as a Quality Supervisor.

ISOQAR rescued him from a life of grime and he is now a Lead EMS and QMS Auditor. He also delivers the QMS training courses within a team of other experienced trainers.

Married for 27 years with 2 "grown up" daughters, a border collie (Missy) and Jack Russell (Ruby), Steve says he spends his spare time looking after the bitches and also walking the dogs!

Other interests include football, badminton, quizzes and conjuring.

Mick is a trained polymer technologist and joined ISOQAR in November 2003 after working 34 years in the rubber industry, mainly with tyre manufacturer Pirelli. Mick’s work has always been in the Quality or Technical field and he spent several years as Materials Quality Manager at Pirelli’s Burton on Trent facility. He has been directly involved with Quality standards from “birth” when it was BS 5750. This led to Mick’s involvement with QS 9000, TS16949 and finally ISO 9001:2000. During his time at Pirelli he conducted numerous second party and internal audits. He achieved his Lead Auditor qualification prior to joining ISOQAR. His move to ISOQAR was the result of him wanting to use these skills on a full time basis.

Mick is also a qualified “Adult Learning” tutor and has done part-time tutoring at his local college for courses within the community sector.

Mick’s hobbies include gardening, for which he is “certified” (or is that certificated?). Good old City and Guilds! He also likes to travel and has been known to take a number of “mini” holidays. He says doing it this way makes it seem like you have more holidays than others!

Paul is ISOQAR’s subcontract representative in Ireland working on both sides of the border. He has been active in Quality Assurance for the last twenty years having spent the first ten years of his working life in Jamaica; initially as a school teacher and later as a promotions director for a local sports goods company. When he returned to his native Northern Ireland in 1985 he became the Quality Control Manager of a large fruit and vegetable packing plant for five years. He has been a Quality Consultant since 1991 and an IRCA registered lead auditor since 1995. Paul has worked with and audited hundreds of companies across a diverse range of industries within the service, construction and manufacturing sectors.

His hobbies include Guinness testing (when the weather is cold and wet), golf (when it is warm and dry) and linesman (sorry Assistant Referee) for his local football club on Saturday afternoons.

Graham has lived in Chelmsford, Essex since 1986 with his wife and children.  His children's education and development have always been high on his priority list, so he has been actively involved in the PTA (Parent Teachers Association) and more recently as a governor for his son's secondary school.

Graham grew up just outside the East End of London, so he's a hardened West Ham supporter.  He also enjoys (if ageing limbs allow!) playing racquet sports.  His vision of retirement is playing cricket on the village green.

Ted Southworth - Lead Auditor back to the top

Ted started work in the construction industry, managing sites throughout the North West of England. After a spell in the Services he graduated from Manchester University and then became very much involved in teaching and lecturing, ending up on the Advisory Service with a Local Education Authority.

All this has resulted in Ted having a very high level of expertise across a whole range of business sectors. Ted consequently audits many of our customers involved in construction, civil engineering, survey and valuations, manufacturing, timber, UPVC fabrication and well as local authorities, architects and organisations providing training.

And Ted's interests are nearly as diverse! A fell runner for 28 years but now prefers cycle touring and sailing. He has even crossed the Atlantic Ocean twice. With five adult children and six grandchildren, Ted says there's not enough time in a week!

Philip Goodland - Lead Auditor back to the top

Philip worked for 31 years in a company manufacturing PVC sheeting & flooring in Frome, Somerset. Although in one location, the company was owned at various times by ICI, Enichem, Marley and EVC. Philip worked his way up the ladder, ending up as Purchasing Manager. Finally, in 2001 he left to join a Paper and Film Label Manufacturer for the Print Industry, where he worked for nearly 5 years as Purchasing & Logistics Manager.

Philip joined ISOQAR in February 2006, auditing customers' quality and health & safety systems. He also specialises in the security industry.

Philip is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren. A keen Leeds United supporter who loves watching most sports (as age has stopped the participation!). Together with his wife, Paul is a member of the Salvation Army in Gosport where he is a senior lay worker who also plays cornet in the band.  He enjoys photography and editing his digital images, camping and hill walking, offshore yacht-sailing and he dabbles with watercolour painting.  He is also qualified and experienced in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.  Having visited every continent and sailed every ocean he remains keen to travel abroad to build upon his impressive tally of countries visited so far.
Lottie Lindley - Lead Auditor back to the top
lloret Lindley

Lottie met her childhood ambition when she started to wear a white lab coat and work in a laboratory, testing and analysing chemical samples.  In fact she has spent most of her working life employed as a works/industrial chemist and achieved a HNC in Chemistry on a day release basis with her first company.

She has been involved with Quality Management Systems for many years and her first experience of auditing came in 1994.  In 2001 Lottie completed the Lead Auditor course and realised that she wanted to become an external Lead Auditor.  Joining ISOQAR has helped fulfill her dream!

This happened in 2006 and immediately knew she’d made the right decision.  She enjoys auditing companies over a broad spectrum of industry sectors including manufacturing & production, chemical, rubber & plastics, engineering and the security industry.  Lottie is also happy to be working in the security sector and now visits many clients in connection with their ISO 9001 and SIA ACS registrations.

You could never call Lottie an “indoor” girl!  Her main passion since the age of 16 has been running - she has broken the pain barrier in many road races over the years.  Lottie also enjoys indoor rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking. She has even tried Gorge Scrambling (climbing waterfalls) - exhilarating!

Lottie is happily married, spending most of her spare time with her husband.  They are always off on weekends away having laughs and good times.

Tom Martin-Ball - Lead Auditor back to the top
Tom Martin-Ball

After studying Chemistry at University Tom worked in testing construction materials. Moving from Lab work to QA he picked up an MSc in Total Quality Management (TQM) and worked in civil engineering consultancy, local authority housing, fertiliser production, printing and recently plastic fabrication.

Tom is one of ISOQAR’s newest auditors specialising in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. He is married with 3 children and when he has free time he likes to study languages, law, astronomy and history. He also has a black belt in Wing Chun Kung Fu.

Jennifer Kee - Accounts Administrator back to the top
After leaving school Jennifer went to work for various retail outlets. She then got itchy feet and went to work in Jersey before deciding to travel around (not quite the world) but the Canary Islands for winter! Shortly after coming back to the UK Jennifer took her accounts exam (AAT). With this in mind, in 2002 she started work for Safeguard, Environmental Health & Safety Consultants. After working for the company for over two years she was sadly made redundant in July 2004.

Shortly after, Jennifer joined us at ISOQAR working in the accounts department. Her main activities include looking after the invoicing of customers, purchase ledger and credit control.

She says that life after work entails her being a chauffeur, gofer and general dog’s body for her little one. If and when she does have the time or energy left, Jennifer enjoys socialising and a night out on the town with friends. She also likes doing a bit of D.I.Y. She enters every competition under the sun. Unfortunately she has not won anything yet but remains optimistic!

Jenny Bell - Training & Security Sector Coordinator back to the top

Jenny joined ISOQAR in 1993.  She says that at that time, the company was much smaller than it is now!

Initially employed as part of the administration team, Jenny has enjoyed watching the company go from strength to strength.  In the early days, her own contribution to this growth was to ensure that all our auditors were in the right place at the right time.  This meant arranging their diaries, travel and ensuring they had everything they needed.  If that wasn’t enough, she also sent out the invoices and handled lots of the phone calls!

Since then, Jenny has taken on roles in both our Marketing and Overseas departments, and her current role is that of Training & Security Sector Coordinator. A large part of this job involves the organisation of ISOQAR’s training courses at our Head Office in Manchester and all over the world, providing delegates with the information they need to attend. The other half of Jenny’s role is to manage the administration for all of our clients in the security industry who wish to become Approved Contractors in accordance with the Security Industry Authority. Needless to say, both of these roles keep Jenny very busy!

Jenny’s main hobbies and interests are keeping fit (by going to the gym), cycling and playing badminton.  She is also a big music fan.  R&B and soul are her favourites – they allow her to boogie the night away.  At the weekends of course

Anne-Marie Jones - Overseas Business Co-ordinator back to the top

Before joining ISOQAR, Anne-Marie worked as a manager at a home delivery company in Manchester before taking some time off to have her second child.  She then returned to work on a part time basis at BUPA Healthcare, but after deciding the call centre environment wasn’t for her, she left to join ISOQAR as part of the Overseas Business Team.

As Overseas Coordinator, Anne-Marie’s role revolves around processing new contract reviews and coordinating audits for overseas companies.  In fact she administers the certification process for overseas clients and agencies throughout the whole certification process.

Anne-Marie also looks after the financial aspects relating to our overseas agencies and regularly attends conferences and seminars to promote ISOQAR worldwide.

Outside of work, Anne-Marie enjoys spending time with her 2 children, Matthew and Heather.  She also likes to go to the cinema, reading (especially Harry Potter books) and going out with friends for a good boogey!  She also manages to study psychology in her spare time

Lorraine Greenidge - Administration back to the top

Lorraine joined ISOQAR in 1994 as an Assistant Administrator.  Her main duties are updating surveillance reports on the computer system and checking the outcomes of our visits.  Lorraine also helps out in marketing from time-to-time, preparing quotations and sending information to prospective customers.

After work, singing is Lorraine’s main passion.  She is a group director, teaching gospel music at her local church.  She sees her mission in life as keeping others happy.

This is certainly achieved in the office, where she is always keeping us amused with her unusual sense of humour!  She is threatening to stay at ISOQAR until she retires (or runs out of jokes).  Believe me, that is some way off!

Fahmeedah Haq - Certification Assistant back to the top

After studying Textiles and Fashion at University, Fahmeedah completed a short computer course before working as a receptionist and a Pharmacy Assistant (dispenser).

Fahmeedah joined ISOQAR in November 2000 as an Assistant Administrator. Her main duties revolved around ensuring that our auditors know which organisations to visit.

In July 2004, Fahmeedah was promoted to Marketing & Certification Assistant. Her role is split into two.  Half her time is committed to the marketing department and the other half is to the certification department. Her marketing role mainly consists of chasing up prospective clients, dealing with telephone enquiries, ensuring that the consultant’s database is up to date. She’s also involved in various other projects within marketing. Fahmeedah’s Certification work involves preparation of files for the committee meetings, and issuing of certificates shortly after.

Outside work, Fahmeedah can be found going to the cinema or listening to music. She also says she enjoys walking and cooking (but not at the same time we hope!)
